A SNAKE LIKE NO OTHER

Nightmares catch each of us by surprise.  

However, horror movies attract 46% of all Americans to the theater, with most (71%) ranging 35 years of age and under.  

A horror movie with me starring as the main character, played on the main screen of my mind, on the night of October 27^th. 

“As I walk throughout a small town, people pass by that I do not recognize. Continuing to follow the crowd, I notice train tracks with various train cars along the many rails.  The train halted; however, I was unaware of the reason.  Then I saw it. 

Slithering between the cars, a snake raises its enormous, hideous head, and attempts to move forward.  Petrified, I freeze in fear!  

To put in perspective, this reptilian ranked right along with King Kong in size. His head hovered over the other cars.  People continue across the tracks seemingly unaware that lurking to their left, a monster looms to devour everyone!” 

Yes, the dream left me shaken. Over a year has passed since my last dream involving snakes. Every time scares me, bringing me to the realization of the evil one ready and eager to pounce. 

When dreaming of an unknown town, the symbol represents “your inner self and your personal growth”. I find comfort in this as I continue diving deeper into God’s word. ! Timothy 2:15 explains, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”. (KJV) 

The direction of Left reflects “God’s strength or ability demonstrated through man’s weakness.”  I am reminded of the apostle’s words in Matthew 25:31-33, “When he finally arrives, blazing in beauty and all his angels with him, the Son of Man will take his place on his glorious throne. Then all the nations will be arranged before him and he will sort the people out, much as a shepherd sorts out sheep and goats, putting sheep to his right and goats to his left.” (MSG) 

Now, the train symbol brings excitement. For the train signifies “the movement of God.” Can you feel God’s hand moving through our land? How incredulous to see the closeness of the snake in relation to the train! 

Lastly, to emphasize the severity and seriousness regarding a snake, II wish to enlighten each of you. To dream of a snake means “Satan”.  

Since the beginning with Adam and Eve, the devil himself wishes to collect each one of us to his cult and yet, we know our God above “shall cover us with his feathers and under his wings; His truth shall be our shield and buckler” (Psalm 91, KJV)
